Star Halloween
Jam

Rules

• Who: any creator with a Star account. You can join without entering an earlier jam.
• When: submit by October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
• Theme: Halloween. Make the season part of your game's setting, story, or gameplay.
• What: a game created on Star on or after September 1, 2026, and publicly published or republished during this jam. The creation cutoff is midnight Pacific. Any genre or scope, 2D or 3D, solo or multiplayer.
• Returning games: Fall Jam and Monster Mashup entries and winners can enter. Add a substantial Halloween-themed update during this jam, then publish a new version. Tell us what changed in your game's description. Previous entries do not enter automatically.
• How: leave Enter the Star Halloween Jam checked when you publish, or use the Submit buttons under "Your games this jam" after publishing your new version.
• Judging: the Star team picks the top three for fun, creativity, replayability, and interpretation of Halloween. Returning games are also judged on the work added during this jam. Featured picks recognize standout entries.
• First place: 3 months Pro and $100 in credits.
• Second place: 1 month Pro and $50 in credits.
• Third place: 1 month Pro and $25 in credits.
• Explore spotlight: all three winners get 14 days featured on Explore.
• Already on Pro? Receive the Pro credit allowance for your prize's subscription months, plus your bonus credits.
• Badges: every submitter earns a permanent Participant badge. The top three earn Winner badges, and featured picks earn Featured badges.
• Multiple entries: yes, submit as many as you want.
• Iterating: keep building after you submit. The judged version is the latest published version at the moment of judging.
