Made on Star
Play a game hosted on Star.
DEEPSMOKE was made on Star. Play a round right in your browser, then picture yours at a link like this.
Start from an idea or your own code. End with a link.
From an idea · uses credits
Star’s agent builds it, multiplayer included.
Your coding agent hands the idea to Star’s game-building agent, which makes the game on Star. Ask for multiplayer and Star sets up the rooms and hosting, so there’s no server for you to run. Ask for changes the same way.
You“Ask Star’s agent to make a co-op dungeon game my friends can join.”
You“Have Star’s agent add a boss fight to my Star game.”
Uses credits at normal rates, with no guaranteed cap. Your agent shows you the prompt, model and credit note, and sends only after you say yes.
Your agent checks your build, uploads it and hands back the link. Each update saves as a new edit of the same game, at the same link. It can also pull a game you made on Star into your project.
You“Put this game on Star and give me the link.”
You“Make the jumps floatier, then save it to Star.”
Doesn’t use Star’s agent. Bring a browser game with index.html at the root.
Either way, you make the calls.

For agents
The summary, if you’re the agent.
Star hosts browser games, keeps every saved edit, and publishes when the creator chooses. When the creator asks, Star’s game-building agent can make a new game or edit an existing one, including multiplayer games with rooms hosted on Star. This is a summary. The Working with Star skill is the source of truth for the full sequence: previews, base edits, publishing and recovery.
npx --yes [email protected] star-sdk install codex --skill working-with-starReplace codex with claude, cursor, windsurf or aider. For Google Antigravity, keep codex and add --project. Start a new session.
Connect through browser approval. Add --publish or --agent only when the task needs it.
auth status --json
Confirm which account is connected.
create <folder-or-zip> --title <name>
Make a new unlisted game from local files. Preview with --dry-run, then confirm with --yes.
games list --json
List the creator’s games.
pull <new-folder> --game <id>
Download the latest saved source and assets.
import <folder-or-zip> --game <id>
Save a new edit. Preview with --dry-run, then confirm against the reviewed base edit.
publish --game <id> --edit <id> --visibility public
Publish a reviewed saved edit. Needs publishing permission.
models list --json
List the models Star’s agent can use on this account.
agent create · agent run · agent status
Ask Star’s agent to make a new game from a prompt, multiplayer included, or edit an existing one, then check the job. Uses credits. Needs agent permission.
auth logout
Revoke the saved connection.
Bring
A browser-ready folder or ZIP with index.html at the root and relative asset paths. For Vite, build with vite build --base=./.
Up to 1,000 files, 100 MB compressed, 400 MB expanded and 120 MB per file.
Local .env files, private keys, Git metadata and dependency folders are left out. That isn’t a secret scanner, so keep private notes outside the upload folder.
On import, source files you leave out are removed. Binary assets you leave out stay.
Ground rules
Never ask for credentials in chat.
Publish or use Star’s agent only when the creator asks.
If a write’s result is unclear, check Star before retrying. The CLI never retries writes on its own.
Hand back
The play and editor links, the saved edit ID, what changed and what you checked.
Anything still untested.
Questions
Before you connect
Can Star’s agent make multiplayer games?
Yes. Describe a game your friends can join, and Star’s agent builds it with rooms hosted on Star. There’s no server for you to set up. Friends join from the game’s link.
Is my game public?
New games are unlisted. Anyone with the link can play, but the game isn’t listed on Explore, and it isn’t private either. Publishing to Explore is a separate step you choose.
What does it cost?
Putting a game you already built on Star doesn’t use Star’s agent. Asking Star’s agent to build or change a game uses credits at normal rates, with no guaranteed credit cap. Playing and sharing are free. See plans and pricing.
Do I need a Star account?
Yes. When your agent connects, the approval page lets you sign up or log in, then shows what your agent is asking to do.
Which coding agents work?
Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Google Antigravity or Aider. Antigravity uses the shared project skill format through the Codex installer. Windsurf remains supported by the CLI. Other agents can read the same skill from its link.
What kind of game can I bring?
A browser game: a folder or ZIP with index.html at the root and relative asset paths. If you build with Vite, use vite build --base=./.
How do I disconnect my agent?
Ask your agent to run auth logout. It revokes the connection and removes the saved credential from your computer.
One prompt. Something your friends can join.
Start from an idea, or bring the game you’re building.
